Life in Native Los Angeles (video)

One day white plague will come to Tongavar, be scourge upon the land, destroy everything.

What happened?
Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz (beacon.org)
Spain conquered formerly Buddhist Mexico. (But that's impossible! Or is it?) Mexico originally included California.

The Europeans took the land from the indigenous population -- the Tongva (labeling them "Gabrielinos" after the concentration camp "mission" the Spanish established to ethnically cleanse the population) and other local tribes -- and established a sort of Europe West.

A Native brave with no idea
This stronghold of the British (a.k.a. the "Americans") eventually waged war for territory on everyone here -- displacing the French and other interlopers, too, plus thousands of indigenous nations across the land from places now called New York City and the City of Angels (Los Angeles) to create a new imperial British colony and superpower we affectionately call the US of A, scarcely realizing the bloodbath the Europeans engaged in to establish it.

The British-descended "Americans" did not stop at California but instead immediately became an imperial power and invaded the Philippines and the island nation of Hawaii and any other island it could claim as a protectorate or slave colony.

America before the European invasion
